Hunt goes on for teenager’s attacker

ENQUIRIES continued this week, but no arrest has been made, in the case of a 15-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted on Carriden Brae last Thursday (January 10).

The attacker struck just after midnight as the teen walked home. She reported it to a friend that same night and the alarm was raised.

Police - who closed the road last Thursday from the Carriden Parish Church graveyard entrance to the West Lodge House junction to enable investigations - still wish to trace a man they believe may be responsible.

He is described as being 5’5” tall, of slim build and was wearing a black polo neck-style top and dark trousers.

Contact Central Scotland Police with any information on 01786 456000 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
