TRANSPORT Scotland and its contractors Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC) are set to hold public meetings next week to update the community on the progress of the Forth Replacement Crossing and the work that lies ahead this year.

The meetings will be held at the new contact and education centre in Queensferry, (next to the Forth Estuary Transport Authority building off Ferrymuir Gate), on Wednesday, January 30, and Thursday, January 31. Meetings will be held at 3pm and 7pm on both days.

Transport Scotland’s project director, David Climie, said: “We take our engagement with local communities affected by the works very seriously and we look forward to seeing as many people from the surrounding area as possible.”

FCBC will provide an update on forthcoming work on the new Queensferry Junction.
