Linlithgow joins in food and drink festival

FOR the first time ever Linlithgow will take part in the Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight starting on Saturday September 4.

The foody fortnight which lasts till Sunday, September 19, is being promoted by community group LinlithGROW as it supports fantastic local, seasonal produce and helps businesses generate demand for locally produced food.

Reduced food miles, packaging and food storage impacts and a strong local economy are key aims of LinlithGROW.

For the full diary, see this week's Journal and Gazette, on sale on Friday, August 27.
