Low Port Huts demolished
191011 Lowport huts linlithgow being demolished.
IT was the end of an era this week as the Low Port Huts were demolished. Work began on Monday and the temporary huts off Blackness Road will be out of sight for pupils going back to school next week. The demolition organised by West Lothian Council came after they were badly damaged last winter and no longer viable to repair. Groups that used the huts had already relocated locally. The Low Port huts, close to Low Port Primary, were built as temporary accommodation in the 1960s.
