Police probe Bo'ness house fire cause
FIREFIGHTERS' swift action in tackling a suspicious blaze at a house in Pennelton Place, Bo'ness, which gutted the living room, has been praised for preventing the property's total ruin.
White Watch and the Bo'ness retained crew responded to a call just before 10.20pm on Tuesday of 'flames licking out of the windows'.
With no one in the privately-owned premises at the time of the incident, they had to force entry through the front and back doors.
Within 15 or 20 minutes the 10 firefighters had managed to almost extinguish the fire.
Police are investigating and appeal for anyone with information can contact Central Scotland Police on 01786 456000 or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
