FOUR Linlithgow licensees struck gold at the Best Bar None awards last month.

The scheme has run for five years and this year 32 premises, including pubs and hotels, took part with all four 
entrants from Linlithgow coming out on top.

Best Bar None co-ordinator Lorraine Jarvie congratulated LinlithgowBowling Club and Platform 3 who acheived the gold standard for the third year running, and newcomers, the Old Post Office and West Lothian Golf Club, who also came up trumps.

She added: “The achievement of the local establishments is fantastic and shows that we all put our customers to the fore in the levels of service and safety we can offer.”
