Bridgend Primary in Linlithgow recently marked the retiral of two much-loved members of staff.
The picture shows Mita Smith on the left and Frances Paterson, both of whom were very popular not only with the children but the staff too.
The ladies worked in the breakfast club and were also dinner ladies before they both retired on Friday, February 28.
Frances had 14 years service, starting at the school in September 2000 and Mita had four years service, starting at Bridgend in February 2010.
Head teacher Susan Cowan said: “Frances and Mita were a huge part of the school and will be greatly missed by children and staff.
“We would like to thank them for their service and wish them a long and happy retirement.”
