Volunteers took to the foreshore at Blackness last weekend to help clean up the beach area.
In conjunction with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), volunteers helped pick up more than 60 kilos of rubbish.
The haul included plastics containers, bottles, sewage related debris, car tyres, a children’s wheelbarrow and a hedge trimmer.
Matt Barnes, MCS Sea Champions co-ordinator Scotland said: ‘‘I want to say a huge thank you to all those that gave up their time and effort to help clean the beaches.’’
