Steven Livingston claimed he was only supplying drugs for his friends to consume over a weekend.

Livingston, who has a previous drugs conviction, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday after pleading guilty to supplying ecstasy from his home at 71 Mingle Place, Bo’ness, on January 26.

He was originally charged with selling but pleaded guilty at the intermediate diet on the condition ‘sell’ be altered to ‘supply’.

Livingston ( 24) claimed he was supplying the drug to friends for them to take over a weekend.

His defence solicitor said: “He is fit to do work. The drugs were for him and his friends over one weekend, not to sell.”

Sheriff Craig Caldwell sentenced Livingston to a community payback order with the condition he carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the community within three months.
