DOZENS of businesses laid out their stalls at a recent high school careers fair last Thursday.
The event, hosted by South Queensferry High School, drew almost 150 fourth year students keen to find out the various education and career opportunities open to them when they leave school.
The fair was organised by South Queensferry Rotary Club together with the community improvement organisation Queensferry Ambition.
Students were encouraged to explore careers as diverse as law, medicine and teaching, the military, catering and hairstyling, according to organiser and rotary member Neil McKinlay.
He added: “We have exciting plans to expand these activities, helping young adults map out a path of further education or the workplace.”
