Lady luck smiled on four Bo’ness households this week when six tickets won £1000 each in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Four winners, two playing with two tickets, shared the jackpot, with two people winning £2000 and two others £1000 each.
The addresses were in the EH51 0PA postcode area, which includes streets such as Liddle Drive.
The People’s Postcode Lottery manages society lotteries on behalf of a range of charities throughout Scotland, including ones such as Children 1st, which supports youngsters who have been subject to abuse, and the Maggie’s Centres, which helps people affected by cancer.
The lottery supports seven different trusts altogether, and these disburse grants to charities and community projects.
Groups, charities and organisations can apply for funding of up to £10,000.
In total, players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £30.3 million for charity since its inception in 2005.
