Linlithgow RFC’s male voice choir will bring an end to the current season’s performances with a concert on May 31.

Last June saw the choir take part in the Limerick International Choral Festival.

And at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall “Festival of Brass & Voices”, £37,000 was raised for Cancer Research UK.

A busy Christmas and spring schedule saw the choir perform at fund raising events for several charities.

These included a gala dinner at Murrayfield, organised by Linlithgow Rugby Club in conjunction with the Bill McLaren Foundation.

The choir’s final concert of the 2013/14 season will be on Saturday, May 31, at St. Ninian’s Craigmailen Parish Church from 7.30pm to 9pm.

A wide-ranging programme will feature many male voice classics including traditional Scottish favourites, operatic arias and songs from a host of shows.

The guest choir at the event will be Linlithgow Linties Children’s Choir, a community choir drawn from P3-P7 primary school children throughout the town.

The main beneficiary of the proceeds from the concert will be the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland.

Tickets are £6 (primary school children with an adult admitted free) and are available by calling 01506 844383.
