A baking and cake decorating specialist whose talents have taken him on an amazing journey around the world is set to return home.

Paul Bradford who previously ran Linlithgow’s Truly Scrumptious Designer Cakes and the CupCake Cafe Bar in Torphichen, before selling them both three years ago, has an impressive CV.

His work, or art, as some of his peers have styled it, has seen him teaching throughout Europe, the USA and Dubai, with a hectic tour schedule organised for 2015, which takes him and his demonstration team to Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.

Paul said: “I have been blessed to have lived in many beautiful places, including, most recently, Malaga in Spain, but Linlithgow is my home. Once Linlithgow’s in your blood you always return home at some point, and this is the right time for me now.”

He moves into two businesss units on Braehead Road this month. One unit is being redesigned and becomes the film studio where Paul and his team produce the material for his website while the second will be office space.

The world-renowned cake designer and sugarcraft artist has an online cake decorating tutorial website which has 75,000 members, has notched up 2.8 million views on his YouTube site along with a staggering 165,000 monthly visits to his website.

As part of the membership Paul creates one new tutorial weekly which is then uploaded for his members.

To mark his return Paul is offering three readers a chance to participate in the cake decorating craze in a free competition which the Journal and Gazette will be running next week.
