Stewart Nelson, the local Bo’ness manager for betting chain, William Hill knew it was only a matter of time before he was nominated for the latest social media craze sweeping the world - The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Little did he know that his nomination was tenfold and he was set to receive the soaking of a lifetime as 10 customers queued up to deposit the freezing water, courtesy of ice provided by Farmfoods.

Customers raised £312 which Stewart’s employers then doubled up to £624 which he donated to MacMillan Cancer.
