POLICE are still on the look out for suspects after a spate of house break-ins in Linlithgow.

A number of incidents have been reported in the Springfield, Deanburn and Oatlands Park areas between March 10 and March 29, with numerous items stolen from each property.

Police are urging people to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.

Constable Amy Gordon said: “We’re asking people to make sure their homes are properly locked up when they’re out and about, particularly if they’re going away for a few days.

‘‘If you are going on holiday it would be worth asking a trusted friend or neighbour to check in on your house, as this will deter any opportunist thieves.

‘‘In addition, we’re asking for anyone who might have seen people acting suspiciously in the Springfield and Deanburn areas in the past couple of weeks to get in touch on 101.”

Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
