Linlithgow Golf Club: Last week saw ideal conditions for low rounds and the results reflected this.

In the gents’ Wednesday Stableford, Bruce McFarlane scored 42 points to win.

Jim Simpson came second with 40 points and Craig Parry was third with 39 points in Division 1.

The Second Division saw Colin McGill win with 42 points followed by Martin Crow with 39 and Thomas Riddell with 39 in third place.

In the Saturday Medal, Chris Blakey won in Division 1 with 65 (7), followed by Robert Swan 65 (11) and Blair Smith with 66 (12).

In Division 2, Frank McGhee won with 60 (20) followed by Allan McFarlane with 65 (16) and Alexander Hughes with 65 (15).

The ladies played the Three Clubs and Putter competition on Tuesday which was won by Maureen Swinton with 69 (27) followed by Karen Bowerman with 71 (20) and Jackie MacFadyen with 72 (18).

Thursday’s Summer Stableford was won by Jill Harrison with 44 points followed by Frances Wood with 42 and Margo Gardner with 41.
