TEN-YEAR-OLD Lucy Mucklow has a big day ahead of her this summer for on Saturday, August 11, she will be crowned the 2012 Ferry Fair Queen.
A P6 pupil at Queensferry Primary, Lucy said she could not believe her ears when she was told in class that she had been picked as the queen, she said: “I was very shocked but now I am just happy as my best friends are all involved too.”
Aside from school, Lucy is very active with a host of activities such as swimming, cycling, playing the violin, arts and crafts, dancing and just “chilling” with friends keeping her occupied.
Mum Kate, dad John and younger sister Isla (4) are also proud of their Lucy being chosen as queen-elect, Kate said: “It’s such a lovely thing to be involved in and we are now all looking forward to the big day.”
