ONE of the most famous faces of Scottish comedy today is coming to Linlithgow.

With his popular breakfast show and a string of TV credits including Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, the Red Door Comedy Club is proud to announce that Fred MacAulay will be headlining at the West Port Hotel in Linlithgow this Friday, June 8.

And we have a pair of tickets to give away for the show. To enter just follow our Facebook and Twitter pages.

MacAulay will be performing the best bits from his sellout solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, ‘Legally Bald’ as well as all his usual Scottish banter. Support on the night comes from BBC Radio and STV presenter Julia Sutherland, Teddy and Stuart Murphy.

Jacqueline Novosel, the comedy club owner said: “We are very proud to present such a high profiled act to the people of Linlithgow. As a recognized household name Fred MacAulay is always high in demand so we are really excited that he is headlining for us. It’s great to see that we have such a large following and welcome and encourage everyone who hasn’t yet been to come along to these great nights. The Red Door Comedy Club will only get bigger and better!”

Tickets for the show at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm) are £8 in advance or £10 on the door and are on sale in person at the West Port Hotel and online at www.ticketweb.co.uk.
