PUPILS from Blackness Primary School were treated to lunch by Marks and Spencers staff during a Blackness beach clean.
The event took place on Wednesday, May 9 and when the M and S team learned that the pupils were participating in Falkirk Council’s annual spring clean they made sure it was ‘‘no ordinary lunch’’ for the boys and girls.
The M and S staff were participating in a Marine Conservation Society awareness raising event designed to highlight sustainable fishing.
The company was also supporting a canals and waterways clean-up from May 8-13.
Heather Cullen, headteacher at Blackness Primary School, said: ‘‘I’d like to thank Sheena Ramsay from the Falkirk M and S branch for her assistance. It was a highly successful morning and a very good joint venture.’’
