JUST in case you thought Panto season was over...oh no it’s not!
The Linlithgow Players are putting on a showcase of song and dance next week telling the story of Dick Whittington with their dramatic skill and good humour. There will be plenty of laughs and adventure as the hero Dick sets out to make his fortune in London with his trusty cat Tommy.
On the way he meets a motley crew of friends and he may even find love on his travels. Dick’s arch enemy is soon revealed as King Rat who dreams of ruling the world with rats that threaten to cloud Dick’s dreams of fame and fortune.
But will the evil King Rat have his way and will Dick ever make his fortune on the streets of London? There’s only one way to find out!
Dick Whittington will be performed at Linlithgow Academy Theatre from January 12-14 at 7pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
