Have your say

We hark back to a scene from the Crying of the Marches in Linlithgow sometime during the 1940s. The photograph was submitted Orcadian James White and features his late grandfather Wiliam White, who resided at Auldhill Crescent in Bridgend.

William played the drums for the Broxburn Flute Band during the 1940s prior to his death in 1951.

We are always looking for old photographs, so if you have an old photo to share, hand it in to the Journal and Gazette office at 114 High Street, Linlithgow, or Bo’ness Library (Mondays and Fridays, 2-3pm) or email jpegs to editorial@journalandgazette.co.uk
