Senior pupils at Grangemouth High organised an event to help raise funds for this year’s school prom.

And when they were looking for fundraising ideas, they decided what better thing to do than hold a fashion show of prom wear, giving fellow pupils an opportunity to see what styles were available from local retailers.

The youngsters were helped in their project by PE teacher Caitlyn Stewart who said: “We’ve never done one of these before but this is going to be the first prom in three years so it was a perfect opportunity to connect with local businesses.”

Supporting them on the night were Envy Gowns and JH Kilt Hire who supplied all the dresses and kilt wear for the S6 pupils who had volunteered to be models. There was also a photo booth feature from Sparkle Dance Floors which the pupils will be hiring on the night of their prom thanks to the fundraising.

They thanked all the businesses who supported them on the night and who provided raffle prizes.

The prom takes place on June 28 at Glenbervie House Hotel in Larbert.
