Poundworld is opening a store in Linlithgow, creating 30 new jobs in the town.
The former Brantano store in Stockbridge Retail Park, is being transformed into the value retailer and doors are due to open on Friday April 28, at 10am.
The new store is part of an expansion by the business to open ten new Poundworld’s in Scotland and 30 jobs are needing filled.
As part of opening celebrations there will be face painting, free product samples and a guest appearance from company money-saving mascot, Percy the Pound.
Shirley Watson, Poundworld area manager said: “It’s fantastic to be opening our first store in Linlithgow, breathing new life in to the former Brantano store.
“We’re excited to welcome customers through our doors.”
The fast-growing value retailer has over 325 stores nationwide and plans to open a further sixty stores annually for the next three years.
