Pre-election brief called by West Lothian Council

West Lothian Council’s election team has invited candidates, prospective candidates, election agents and people considering being an election agent at the May 3 council elections to a special briefing on Thursday, January 26.

The briefing will be held from 6-7.30pm in Conference Room 3, West Lothian Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston. A council spokesman said: “The event aims to cover important issues such as the timetable, nomination packs, Electoral Commission guidance, polling arrangements, postal voting, arrangements for the count, Register of Electors and voter awareness raising.’’ If you would like to attend, please contact West Lothian Council’s election team on 01506 281675 or 01506 28165, or email elections@westlothian.gov.uk to confirm your place.
