Excitement is mounting in the Queensferry business community as the inaugural business awards ceremony looms ever closer.

Queensferry Ambition’s Business Awards are taking place on Thursday, January 29, at Orocco Pier.

The proceedings will commence with a dinner, sponsored by Forth Bridge Experience at Orocco Pier, with the awards ceremony taking place shortly afterwards.

The evening will be hosted by Malcolm Brown, chairman of Queensferry Ambition.

In addition to celebrating the success of the award finalists, guests will also hear from speakers from Investors in Young People and John Mitchell Haulage and Warehousing.

Those short-listed for awards are as follows: 
Best Customer Service, sponsored by Aquarius Contact Centres, South Queensferry Library, 21CC Group Ltd.

Best Energy and Environmental Business, sponsored by Queensferry Ambition, JW Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinics, Hopetoun Estate.

Innovation Award, sponsored by Business Gateway, Words & Pictures, Queensferry Tours.

Business in the Community Award, sponsored by Scottish Water, South Queensferry Library, Queensferry Sports and Community Hub.

Best Employer, sponsored by the Scottish Training Federation, The A9 Partnership, JW Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinics.

Keep It Local Award, sponsored by Xtra-Mile.com, Queensferry Tours, JW Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinics.

The ticket prices are £40 per person plus VAT.

A spokesman for Queensferry Ambition said: “We would really like to see you all there so do not delay in registering to attend what is shaping up to be a great night.”
