MORE people can get on their bikes in Queensferry with a £6 million cycle path revamp.

The cash injection from the Scottish Government was confirmed by transport minister Keith Brown this week for the cycle route from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This includes the A90 route from Barnton Junction to the Forth Road Bridge.

Queensferry councillor Norman Work was delighted saying: “I have been campaigning to have the section of cycle path alongside the A90 improved for some time. Both the City of Edinburgh Council and the Scottish Government are committed to spending more money on cycling and I am pleased that this money has been made available by the Scottish
Government as improvements to the cycle path alongside the A90 are long overdue.”
