Queensferry police seek help

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fire raising incident in Queensferry.

A car was totally destroyed by fire and another vehicle parked close by also suffered damage when a car was torched around 4.30am on Saturday, November 26 at Inchcolm Terrace.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for any information in relation to this incident. The fire services believe petrol was used to start the fire. If anyone saw a person(s) acting suspiciously around this time, they should contact Queensferry Police Station on 0131 331 1798.”

This is the second such incident to occur in the Queensferry area in recent weeks. The other was at the town’s Somerville Gardens on Monday, November 21 when a recycle bin was set alight which later spread to a garage.
