Football star Lee Wallace got four penalty points on his driving licence after speeding at nearly 100mph near Linlithgow.
The Rangers captain was caught in a police speed trap near the town and was also fined £250 when he was sentenced at court in Livingston.
The footballer had earlier pled guilty by letter to driving his Audi A5 at 96mph on the M9 Edinburgh to Stirling motorway on March 16.
After reading about the Rangers star’s previous convictions, justice of the peace Neil Polwart ordered him to appear personally for sentence.
However, Wallace failed to turn up for the first scheduled hearing because he had jetted off to Florida for a holiday after his team’s cup final defeat by Hibs.
The sunshine break came immediately after he was allegedly punched by a rival fan in the on-pitch mayhem which followed the Hibernian victory.
