The summer season may be over for the Seagull Trust Cruises, the charity that provides cruises on Scottish canals for people with special needs, but there are some important trips still to plan this year.
The Santa Cruises in December are some of the most enjoyable journeys for everyone involved, however, there is a need for more volunteers to crew the boats and other trips throughout the year.
Cruises from bases at Ratho, Falkirk and Kirkintilloch leave up to three times a day, seven days a week from April to October.
Trust chairman David Mieras said: “People can give as much or as little time as they can to help us. They will be fully trained in the skills required.’’
