SHOWSTOPPING Showaddywaddy will play Linlithgow this June as part of their nationwide tour.

Following the huge sell-out success of the Drifters Night at last year’s Marches Marquee, organisers have gone one better this year and booked the 1970’s rock and rollers.

The retro-inspired Showaddywaddy, famous for their 23 top 40 singles including, ‘Under The Moon of Love’, ‘When’, ‘You Got What It Takes’, ‘3 Steps To Heaven’, and ‘Hey Rock and Roll’ will take their incredible live show to Linlithgow celebrating 40 years in the music industry.

In 2004 the band released their remastered ‘Very Best Of’ collection, and
after staying in the charts for three months, the band knew they still had what it takes to pull in the crowds. They released “The Sun
Album” in 2008 which sparked off a series of UK concerts from 2009-2011. A new show in 2012 saw an expanded line-up featuring two drummers for the first time since the 70’s, and this year they will take their 40 years of musical genius to the royal burgh.

Showaddywaddy with a full live band will play at the Marches Marquee on Saturday, June 22, and Real Radio Breakfast DJ Ewen Cameron will be MC, playing the tunes to get the crowds going, rounding up a fantastic evening of entertainment.

Tickets are £25 and available from The Burgh Halls Box Office on 01506 282720.
