LINlithgow RFC has reached out to local groups for ideas as they bid to transform its Mains Park base.

Last week, an open evening for sports groups laid out the £400,000 vision for the club which includes a new indoor facility with artificial pitch, changing rooms, and a strength and conditioning suite.

Club president Craig Young said: “We have always been clear that the facility will be available for the use of others.

‘‘In order to help us develop our plans properly, we need those who are interested to consider how they might make use of it.”

Input from organisations will help the club complete their Stage Two
application for funding from Sportscotland, after the plans were given the go-ahead by West Lothian Council last month.

Craig added: “It was a very successful meeting.

‘‘About half a dozen groups were represented and the discussion was very helpful.”

Organisations interested in the new facility should contact LRFC via the website or contact Craig Young on 07890124217.
