Tesco Linlithgow will be holding a foodbank collection next week from Monday, November 24, until Saturday, November 29.
The initiative, which is taking place in Tesco stores across the nation, will give the shoppers a chance to help out struggling families as they pick up their groceries.
Items donated will be used to stock local foodbanks.
Customers will have access to a list of items which are in short supply at the foodbank.
However, any donation shoppers are able to make is appreciated.
Isobel Park of Tesco Linlithgow said: “This is the fifth time that Tesco has held a collection for local foodbanks.
“The collection taking place this week will re-energise our commitment to helping hungry people in communities across Britain”.
The collection will be manned by Tesco staff between Monday and Thursday with volunteers from the Trussell Trust taking over on Friday and Saturday.
