Over 50s are being invited to a free lunch buffet at Xcite Linlithgow on Tuesday, November 25.
Between 11.15am and 12.15pm, the drop-in event will give visitors the chance to find out more about healthy eating and exercise, and enjoy a nutritious lunch free of charge.
The menu for the day includes tomato soup with crusty bread, mackrel pate, smoked salmon and cream cheese crackers, and a fresh fruit platter.
Andy Sillars, Xcite Health & Wellbeing Consultant, said: “It’s important to eat well at any age, and it is even more important as we age. We hope that people will come along and find out how we can support them, and enjoy a cuppa, snack and a chat with our Xcite team”.
The event is part of Xcite’s Aging Well project which runs a number of classes and activities for older people. These include over 50s fitness classes such as pilates, yoga and aquafit, as well as activities like Tea Dances, Knit & Natter, Tai Chi, Indoor Kurling, Singing For Health, Walking Football and Young at Heart Social Events.
