A van was stolen during a break-in at a house on Station Road in Philipstoun on Monday afternoon.

The keys to a Volkswagen T-Sporter were removed from inside the home and the van was then taken.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the theft, at around 3.30pm on Monday, December 28, to come forward with information.

Constable Ross Hamill from the Community Investigation Unit in Livingston said: “The owner of the vehicle is obviously very keen to have it returned and we are currently pursuing a number of lines of inquiry to trace those responsible.

“If you remember seeing anything suspicious in the Station Road area on Monday afternoon or have any information relevant to this investigation then please contact police immediately.”
