A COMA survivor who won his battle to learn to walk again hit out this week at the astonishing theft of his mobile walking frame.
Former construction worker Stephen Score (38) branded those responsible ‘scumbags’ after discovering his Delta Three-Wheeled Walker missing from his Maidenpark area garden.
Stephen relied on the frame to get out and about every day, since his mobility was affected by a suspected stroke about three years ago.
He stopped breathing and had oxygen deprivation to the brain. Medics were unsure if he would be paralysed or even die.
But after three months of rehabilitation in hospital, he was able to return home.
Stephen had used the frame on Saturday afternoon to go to Newtown Park for Bo’ness United’s Scottish Junior Cup victory over Linlithgow Rose.
It was left just inside the gate on Saturday night, but had vanished by early Sunday afternoon, leaving Stephen stuck in the house.
