Motorists heading into Edinburgh on the A90 are being advised that there will be a lane restriction during off peak hours.

The city council’s transport team is pursuing an investigation on the grass verge in connection with proposed cycleway improvements which began earlier this week.

The road will be reduced to one lane between the Dolphington flyover to the Burnshot slip road.

A 50mph speed limit will be in place during the works.

The works are expected to continue until Friday, November 22.

Works, however, will not take place at weekends.
