Rush hour rail passengers are facing delays after a death on the inter-city line between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

ScotRail has confirmed the hold ups “sadly due to a person being hit by a train between Polmont and Linlithgow”.

It confirmed no services are currently running on the line or between Edinburgh and Dunblane.

The rail operator says disruption is expected until at least 7.30pm.
