Trust set to run key sites in Bo'ness

A HOST of Bo'ness cultural and leisure facilities will be run in future by a charitable trust rather than Falkirk Council directly, in a bid to save money and protect jobs.

The Hippodrome, Bo'ness Recreation Centre, the town hall and library, Kinneil Estate and Museum, and Birkhill Clay Mine are included in the district-wide transfer, that the SNP opposition has attacked as "privatisation."
