Veteran SNP Councillor Coleman becomes Falkirk Provost
Falkirk Council has replaced the town's longstanding Provost Pat Reid with veteran SNP Councillor Tom Coleman.
The appointment was made earlier today at a meeting of the newly formed council.
Councillor Coleman, who represents Bonnybridge and Larbert, was joined by his SNP colleague Ann Ritchie, from the Bo’ness and Blackness ward, who accepted the role of depute provost.
