Blue skies and warm sunshine greeted the Grand Parade of this year’s Bo’ness Fair.
Following a fantastic crowning ceremony and entertainment provided by the presentees of the town’s schools at Glebe Park, the focus shifted to the streets of Bo’ness for the parade.
The ceremony overan slightly so it had a knock-on effect for the parade. But the delay only ensured that the majority of the townsfolk were able to ensure a grandstand view on the route.
With the Journal and Gazette reporting team sited at West Partings, we had a great view of the proceedings and it did not disappoint.
It first appeared in sight around 12.35pm and took a whole 30 minutes to pass from start to finish.
