TO CELEBRATE all things science this Easter, we’ve teamed up with the Edinburgh International Science Festival to offer our readers the chance to win a free family day pass.
The winners will also get a survival kit for the festival, which contains things like, slime, bubble mixture, puzzles, goo and other science treats.
During the festival, the City Art Centre becomes six floors of fantastic fun for all the family.
So whether you’re a budding Einstein or simply into all things science – from scary skeletons to racing robots and manic monsters – there’s sure to be something for you.
You’ll find fun workshops, shows, hands-on activities and exhibitions. For the very young there is the World of Bubbles, the Imagination Garden and our Storytime tent.
Or for older children there is the Manic Monster Hunt where you hunt monsters using video surveillance equipment, The Blood Bar where you can make your very own scabs, mix a gooey blood clot and, if you are feeling very brave, touch a real heart.
The family passesand survival pack are worth up to £40 and are valid from Saturday, March 31, to Saturday, April 14,(not April 1 or 8).
To win a family pass, just answer this simple question: Where is the Science Festival being held?
Send your entries on the form provided to Science Festival, Journal and Gazette, 114 High Street, Linlithgow, EH49 7AQ, to arrive no later than Wednesday, March 28. Please enter an email address and telephone contact number.
