Winter blasts back after calm weekend

COMMUTERS were hit for the second week running as snow again disrupted travel plans in and around South Queensferry.

Heavy snow on Monday from around 6.30am left the town encased in a further 20cms, leaving roads treacherous and public transport at a standstill.

First Edinburgh buses, Fife circle trains and Forth Road Bridge motorists were all affected.
