DON’T miss your Journal and Gazette next week, for your chance to be in the running for a share of £10,000 for your good cause.

Food giant Caledonian Produce of Bo’ness has teamed up with your local newspaper for a fabulously festive community competition.

The Caledonian £10k Community Christmas Cracker offers not-for-profit groups and individuals based across the circulation area the chance to win a share of £10,000.

Caledonian Produce, Bo’ness’s biggest employer, is generously putting up three prizes, £5000, £3000 and £2000, for deserving projects that benefit the community or good causes further afield.

The competition prize pot has all been raised by Caledonian Produce staff via their on-site shop at Carriden Industrial Estate.

You need to be on your marks, and set to go, on November 4, when the competition is officially launched, and the entry coupon will be published that week.

Schools, church groups, sports teams, national charities’ local branches and the like can enter as many individual projects as they want to. Each must demonstrate at least one of Caledonian Produce’s five core values: customer care; ‘can do’ attitude; teamwork; innovation and sustaining excellence.

Full details and entry form next week, Nov 4.
