BO'NESS United assistant coach Willie Newbigging says nothing will be taken for granted in the Dechmont South League Cup matches, despite the team's Super League status.
"There's no team that's got a God-given right to win a game. You've got to go out there and earn your points," he said.

"The priority will be the league but we'll take this very seriously because we want to get off to a good start."

Thrice-weekly pre-season training starts on Monday and a great emphasis will be put on fitness.

Newbigging is delighted Bo'ness have a home fixture to kick off the new league campaign and said: "We hope we'll have a decent turn-out to come and see the new team."

Added the second-in-charge: "I think it's the best junior league in Scotland.

"Last year it was very tight and I think everybody can beat anybody else.

"We'll be treating every game with cup final mentality in the Super League.

"You've got to come off the park and say, 'I've done enough'."
