Linlithgow Rose will travel to face Highland League side Clachnacudin in the second round of the Scottish Cup.

Having gone south to knock out Gala Fairydean in the first round on Saturday, Davie McGlynn’s side will head north for their next match.

The Rose boss admitted that he knows very little about Clachnacudin, who booked their place in the second round with a 5-0 win away to fellow Highland League side Deveronvale.

However they are struggling in the league and are currently third bottom having lost eight out of their 10 games so far.

McGlynn said: “We’ll do what we can to gather as much information about them as we can.

“We have to make sure that we prepare ourselves properly for the match so we’ll also have to look to see whether we will have an overnight stay or travel up on the day.”

The tie is due to be played on Saturday, October 24.
