In the P5/6 Challenge Cup, Grange Primary were the boys’ victors, beating Kinneil 1-0 in the final.

For the girls, Deanburn just pipped Kinneil 3-2.

The P7 Fair Cup went to Grange for the boys, with them overcoming the Public school 2-0, and the Deanburn girls won 3-2 on penalties, after drawing 2-2 with Grange in normal time.

Hundreds of pounds were raised for Fair funds by the event that’s organised by the Fair committee.

Tom Burns said: “A big thank you to all who helped on the day - teachers, janitors, parents and grandparents, and a couple of headteachers were there as well. Thanks too to all the committee for all their hard work in making it a big success.’’

Fair Queen Georgia Sommerville presented the prizes. The Grange Primary duo of Jack Stirling and Erin Harrison scooped the best player accolades.
