Baikie urges Linlithgow to stay focussed

ROSE boss Dave Baikie is looking for his side to extend their unbeaten run in the Super League with a win over Kelty Hearts.

The pair meet at Prestonfield tomorrow (Saturday) and Baikie will be urging his players to focus solely on this match as opposed to the cup draws featured elsewhere on this page.

He said: "Players can get distracted in cup draw week but the aim is to keep them focussed on Saturday's match.

''Kelty have not made a good start in the league but they also never lost a goal throughout their entire league cup campaign so they will be a hard team to break down. We will be looking to establish an early lead as we did last week.''

For a full match preview see this week's Journal and Gazette, out on Friday, September 3.
