Linlithgow man Stewart Murdoch will play in the biggest game of his budding career when Falkirk meet Celtic on Sunday in the Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final at Hampden.

The midfielder has been an integral part of the Bairns’ push for promotion to the Scottish Premier League and scored the winning penalty to beat Dundee United (5-4) in the previous round of the League Cup.

And the 21-year-old hopes this fairytale season continues by his side overcoming their more illustrious opponents this weekend.
