Linlithgow player breaks his leg
ROSE midfielder Mark Bradley suffered a double leg break in last Saturday's Super League opener at Tayport.
The 34 year-old was the victim of a "reckless challenge" from Tayport's Derek Wemyss in the closing stages of the match.
He was taken to Ninewells Hospital where his right leg was straightened and encased in plaster. He was scheduled to get an operation to insert a steel rod.
Rose boss Dave Baikie, who lives in Tayport, visited the player this week in hospital saying: "He has been up and walking but is suffering from knee pain. He is not sure if it is to do with the steel rod and will need to consult with doctors."
Baikie added: "The injury has been a nightmare for Mark as he is married with a family who live in Glasgow. His wife has been coming up at nights to visit him."
Bradley was expected to be released from hospital today (Friday).
