THE Rotary Club of Linlithgow Grange raised over £6000 when it staged a very successful charity golf tournament at Linlithgow Golf Club on Monday.
A total of 160 golfers took part in the competition which was keenly contested. The winning team was from Scottish Motor Trades Association with a score of 127. Kelly’s Gold came in second place but the position for third was awarded to “Fore Gone Conclusions”, only after analysing their score on the back nine with two other teams also in contention.
Individual prizes were awarded to B. Rice, Fraser Miller and David Robertson while the West Lothian Warriors won the prize for the lowest aggregate score at the 16th hole and the yellow ball competition was awarded to Riddell’s Rabble.
